Default Changing plugs

I just ordered my pacesetters and I figure I wil change the spark plugs while I am at it. I bought some NGK TR55's a while back. What is the gap setting on the LS1?

they pregap thier plugs to .055 right out of the box so most of the time they are ready to put on.

Are the TR55's a good plug or do I need some kind of platinum plug?

Most of the people on this board that are naturally aspirated run TR55's, including myself. If you plan on running nitrous, go a step colder to TR6's.

the tr55 are great unless using FI or nitrous, as jmm said.

I've heard some say that they've noticed better throttle response gapping at .50. I usually go inbetween at .52. Always check the gaps on all your plugs though, because they can vary. In fact I've never had a consistent batch. They've always varied from .50 to .60.
