Default Electric water pumps, how are they holding up?

When they first came how I heard of issues of them going out rather quick.

Have they gotten any better?
Anyone dyno there car after just the waterpump install?

Search seems to be down once again so I thought I would post up.....

Mine has roughly 10,000 miles on it if I recall what the previous owner told me when I bought it. Its a meziere and it works fine still, but its leaking coolant around the seal. I called meziere and the tech guy said its usually from the pump being improperly torqued when installed. They sent me a new oring seal and it looks pretty straightforward to fix.
