anyone have problems w/ Volant install?
Tried to install my Volant this past weekend, and ran into a few problems. 1st, the bolts they sent were too long. 2nd, the MAF wouldnt fit inside of the "y" piece that the filters connect to, and lastly, the lip on the back of the "air box" wouldnt fit over the plastic tabs on the fan shroud, leaving the radiator and fans to fit loosely and wobble back & forth. So needless to say, I packed it all back up. Luckily, I ordered this from a friend who is a dealer for Volant, he spoke to them, and they're supposed to be sending a new one.
I was just wondering if anyone else had these problems, or if I just happend to get a bad one. Please share any experience you have.
Thanks

I have a Volant and didn't have any problems with the install at all. It all went together very nicely. All the bolts fit, the shroud fits snug, and the "y" pipe slipped over the TB/MAF with a little effort, but nothing remotely difficult. Sorry to hear you had such a hard time with yours.

I just tried installing my new Volant on my 02 ws6. I have the SLP bellow. I can't line up the maf with the intake, and even when I just tried putting the maf and volant together without the box, there was too much space(almost as if the volant was out of round)! How are you supposed to clamp hard plastic??? I' going to get another stock bellow to see if that helps. Gotta luv those aftermarket parts!

Nothing about my kit fit correctly with, or without the bellow on there.
I just got word that they finally sent out a new on wednesday to replace the other POS they sent me the 1st time. Nothin like waiting for over 2 months to get parts (this was a Christmas present that was ordered on Dec. 14).
thanks for the input guys
