Default Trouble with y pipe

I just installed my pacesetter lts and I also got the tsp ory. I am just having trouble getting the y on right. The slip fit connectors are really tight is there any special trick to get them to slid on better or do you just beat them until they are on. I have a cutout in my stock catback. Will I need to remove the catback or will there be enough room to just wiggle them together.

Thank you for the help in advance.

Liquid hand soap or a bar of soap will help the pieces slide together easier. You should also check the connections to make sure there aren't any burrs preventing the ends from sliding together. You shouldn't have to hammer them on to get them to fit...that's a little too snug.
