Default Oil pressure sending unit socket?

What size is the socket needed to remove and replace the unit? Or the part number for it? My dumbass broke my sending unit in half even after reading to be very very careful around it .

There's a special oil pressure sending unit socket that you should be able to get at any auto parts store. (Napa, Autozone, Advance, ect.) I don't know any part numbers though.

Thanks that's what i wanted to know, i knew there was a special one but i wasn't sure if you had to order it from GM like everything else on these cars or not lol. No autoparts stores carried the NGK 55's had to special order them from advance figured someone would carry those.

auto zone has one... it was OEM brand, and cost $6. It was way easier than trying to get it on any other way.

Cool, yeah i wouldn't even attempt to take it off any other way. I gotta go to autozone anyways and rent a puller again for the crank pulley i chipped while i was putting it on yesterday oh well it was a good reason for me to buy an underdrive pulley.
