Default Broken blade shaft on QTP electric cutout

Has anyone ever had the shaft shear off in the middle of the blade while it was in the closed postion?

I was testing my car out and had the cutouts closed. I made one hard pull and my exhaust was getting louder as I exited the interstate. When I pulled over to check it, I saw the shaft was sheared off and the blade was gone. From what I could see, the shaft looked bent backwards (the same direction as the exhaust flow.)

I am going to try to get pics later, but I don't see how I could have broken the shaft, I have made WOT pulls before with them closed without any problems.

Anyone heard of this before?

Thanks,
Kevin
