About as good as the rest of the stock LS1 mufflers.
If you want to keep the stock muffler for the sound (or lack of sound), then get a cutout for better flow when you want the power.....

Mine sounds decent now that I've gutted the cats. If you're still stock, one of the best mods you can do for the $$ is get a cutout put on it. Or step up to an electric one, like a QTP.
