Default header install spark plug access?

is it easy to change the spark plugs during a header install?

As long as you have no exhaust manifolds or headers in the way, it should be extremely easy to change spark plugs.

I'd say its pretty easy to change them without the manifolds/headers on the car.

Easiest when they are off yeah, just dont break them off puting the headers back on. Also be careful for your water temp sensor on the drivers side of the motor, near the front.
