Default Edelbrock Stepped Headers on a 408???

been doing a lot of reading and have heard great things about the edelbrock headers for the price.. but how well will they work on a 408 stroker...compaired to 1 7/8ths Kooks? Are the Kooks going to give me enough extra power if any to make up for twice the price?

I personally don't think the Kooks merit the price UNLESS you are going for show and then the stainless steel obviously looks a lot better in the engine bay. I'm running the Edelbrocks b/c I couldn't care less about what my headers look like, can't beat em for the price.

It's an M6. With stock lq9 heads, ls6 intake, edelbrock lt/ory/lm it put down 425/445.
