Default Exhaust for 427 small block

Hey guys im replacing my 350 with the all aluminum 427(550 horse and torque) small block from world and i have ceramic headers with flowmaster 2.5 inch pipes and super 40 muffler. I needed to change the sound to make the flat tappet solid cam stand out as much as possible cause i love that sound. I want as loud and as choppy as i can get while still having a durable reliable system.Im wondering if i should just change the muffler or the whole system to a larger pipe. If just the muffler, what type? If the whole system, what type and how big?

get 1 7/8 headers and dual 3" exhaust with an h or x pipe and it will be music to your ears.

muffler? i have the dual super 40 but i heard that they are very restrictive. They are average on my 350 but i watn to accent the 427's cam and make it loud. If 2.5 full exhaust with super 40's will do that then ill just keep it

For my 427 I am going to use 1-7/8" stepped to 2" long tubes with dual cutous right after the headers, then a 2.5" y-pipe to single 3" i-pipe to Flowmaster 80. Obviously for your car, I would suggest similar headers with 3" duals, an x or h pipe, and I think some Flowmaster 10 series would be pretty badass.
