Default A/C compressor part numbers

Quick question...

Replacing my A/C compressor (BIG pain in the *** by the way) and the new one (which looks identical and came off another F-Body) has a different part #. I want to triple check here. Old one is PN ...7009, new one is ...7018. Any difference? I can get the full part numbers tonight.

Also, to anyone that has taken theirs off (including the lines), does the metal piece that attaches to the back of the compresser sit completely flush on the surface of the comp.? I see a little gap between the outside of the metal part of the lines (the block where the bolt goes through) and the actual compresser. Im gonna take it off and try to put it back on, but I wanted to make sure.
