I only want to do headers once and so here is my dilemma. I live in Iowa and sometimes drive during the winter when the roads are cleared and it warms up a little(30's). Will coated pacesetters work for me or should I go with QTP's? I get a yearly budget for the car from the wife, and QTP's and true duals will eat it all up for the year pretty much, where the pacesetters won't be such a big hit.

QTP or Kooks. Stainless is the only way to go. The Pacesetters may be a smaller hit, but once they start rusting away you'll be buying them again. Salt + non stainless = short life.

I'd spend the extra $$ and get stainless. Just my $.02.
