I am looking for a used LS6 intake but am kind of confused by all the posts about ones for sale. I see some with the EGR provisions, without them, with TB, without them, etc. I have a 1998 Z28 and am wanting to get an LS6 intake, so which one should I be looking for?

there really isnt much of a choice with the LS6 intake manifolds most likely you will get a SLP.

Where do you live? Do you need smog provisions? Get the LS6 w/o egr unless you need to pass a visual inspection. You can get block off plates for the headers. Unless you go with race LT's

Even if you could get a deal on one with the egr you can always seal the hole shut.So if you find one for a good price you could get it too.
