Default Air connections on manifolds

On my 01 Z28 I believe I have 1 air thing on each exausht manifold. The headers that i bought, macs which are for 98-99 has a third air tube am i just missing the third one on my car Is there three? I only saw 2 air connections on the manifolds when i looked the other day I just want to be sure that I have everything covered before i get started.

Thanks
Jon

The third one is probably for the EGR, the 01s don't have external EGR, just use a block off plate for that connection

Ok thanks thats what I thought.

I got one more question how much slack is there on the rear o2 sensors wires. This will be a custom mac setup. I will be running macs with the ball flange cut off then then a 3in 45 degree bend then a 3in to 2.5 reducer then into cats. I'm not sure on how far back the cats will be but probably about the same spot as a set of long tubes. Do they usually reach that far I've heard the rear o2 wiring will usually reach it's the front o2's that dont reach with long tubes but they should with the macs.

Thanks
Jon

That I can't help on, I've got sims and vette sensors on my LTs, FWIW you can use another set of rears on the front, they are interchangable, only difference is the wires are longer, as for the rears reaching I think they will, but I'm not 100% sure

You can get the O2 wiring extensions. I doubt the stock wires are going to reach back as far as you need.

The fronts should reach since there not that much farther than stock on the mac's. But I have read that the rears usually reach on a set of long tubes it's the fronts that need the extensions. I don't want to buy extensions if i don't need them.

you can make your own looms too if you can solder and keep track of 4 wires. Just an idea to save some cash, I did mine this way.
