Default 370 ls1, intake ?

hey guys, i've almost got my 370 iron block ls1 done. the only problem is that i have had to sell all of the extra parts to fund it.(dp kit...) for the mean time i will be running a LS1 intake.
when i get the money i am wanting to go with a victor jr. intake, sheet metal elbow and 90/105mm t-body.

my question is, any idea how bad the LS1 intake manifold is gonna choke it down? (just say how much would a LS6 intake help?)

370
11.9:1 C/R
243*/250* .617/.639 114 futral cam
ported 5.3L heads w/ls1 valves
full supporting bolt ons, except intake manifold

LS6 on a motor like that could help 15rwhp, maby even more on a motor like that. You'll definatly have a SOTP power gain when you throw the LS6 or better on it.

LS6 would help alot over the LS1. Even on a stock cubed 346 it will put a good stranglehold on some power. LS6 would be worth your while. Plus when you upgrade to the carbed setup, then you would have NO problems selling the LS6.

Wow, that is some good static compression that you have on that motor. What kind of pistons did you stick in there?

there diamond flat tops -2cc valve reliefs. that along with 5.3L heads give the good #.
