one final queston be for buying LT headers (air/egr)
i have a 98, im deleting air and egr
i want the edelbrock fully welded headers.
98-99 has air and egr fittings 2 fittings
00-02 has what just air correct? 1 fitting
i rather have one then 2
if teh 00-02 just has air does it hook up to the same air spot as 98-99?

i need the o2 bung and the collectors welded on when i get them.
so it would make sence to get 00-02 welded and only have the 1 air fitting insted of 98-99 air and egr

Im not too familiar with the edlebrock headers but on my race style pacesetters I still have the o2 bungs and my collecters are welded. Not sure if edlebrocks are different.

edelbrocks slip on hvmc collectors dont have 02 or air/egr welded on
the fully welded ones have the colloctors and 02 bungs air egr welded on .
does the air tube from 98-02 go to the same spot on the header?

Nope. There is a slight placement that makes for a PITA. Get the correct year if getting emissions. I would get the race style if your deleting anyway. Having a bung welded in, which is supplied, is only a couple bucks.
