I have a 2001 Z28 when shifting into second and third the exhaust makes a loud pop some times. The exhaust is stock sounds like its coming right under neath my seat. my 97 Z28 did that but after I put borla exhaust on. Any thoughts or is it normal.

Probably just your y-pipe banging the floor board or maybe a tranny mount needs replaced.

could be a backfire, check all your plug wires to make sure they are seated properly.

thanks the car is still under warranty so I will have them fix it i just thought maybe nothing to worry about
