Default dual or single cut out

i just bought slp race pipes to go in place of the cats on my 3'' catted y,
i wanna do cutouts but i don't know which to go with, should i do dual cutout's on the y pipe or a single cutout in the i section, how much will the sound differ. i plan to go with the flowtech wingnut type.

Default

Single in the I pipe has proven to be the "best" location.
