Does Corvette MAF Sensor Change Produce Noticeable Gains?
Hey guys! I'm buying intake system parts for my vette (Blackwing, and High Flow Duct) and I was wondering if changing the MAF sensor to a 1000 CFM really helps without reprogramming the engine??? Any inputs?

Yep the stocker is good for 600bhp or so.
Changing the MAF to an aftermarket one can confuse your PCM by giving a wrong air flow reading thus causing your car to run leaner. This means on a stock car you may pick up a few HP however it's all a lie and mis-information on how it is acheived. As by tuning you can get the same result but without the need to confuse the PCM.
Also if you add such a MAF to a modded car without tuning you may well run dangerously lean which would increase the risk of detonation and a recked engine.
