im only 18 and my install was my very first kind of exhaust work, and my retarded 20 year old friend helped me do it, it took one afternoon for just me to take it off, and he helped me put everything back on the next afternoon, then i drove the car the rest of the night.

i did-
jet hot headers
jet hot y pipe
"magnamouth" cat back
ngk plugs and msd wires
and i removed the air and egr (but that was easy)

ya, you will be good then, just take your time and dont get frustrated because you will, but you will be happy in the end.

just think if some 18 year old with **** for tools can do it, you should be able to do it with ease, its just time consuming

I like to take most of the exhaust manifold bolts out (especially the back ones) before I even get the car off the ground. Removing the valvecovers, or at least the coil packs, helps alot too. It's a snap.

Installuniversity.com, LS1camaro.net, and LS1howto.com have some writeups (well at least one of them does ).

Best tip I can give ya, Take the coil packs off for the extra room, and a set of gear wrenches will be your best friend.....

you will be happy with the lts and hooker catback combo. i say remove the coul packs also.just dis-connect the one plug-in and 5 or 6 10 mm bolts and they are off.i only put the front 2 bolts back in mine so it will be easier to take them off next time.
