i was just about to order some pacesetter, but i want to double check. what is the BEST type of header i could buy for my 01 ws6 A4 for HP gains. I don't want to settle for something, i want something thats worth upgrading too.

pacesetters are great, all the stickies above will tell you what you want to hear. and the search button works great too.

there's nothing wrong with pacesetters, just make sure you get coated ones. if you have some extra money to spend look into kooks or qtp they are probably the best headers for our cars.

Pacesetters are the best bang for the buck no doubt. But if you want the top of the line in quality, durability, and power output, then I would spring for a set of stainless QTP HVMCs. 2nd best IMO would be Kooks.

Bang for the buck, the coated pacesetters are close to the top.
If you want the stainless, get the Kooks (but they're $$$$$)
Most all headers give the same hp increase (give or take a few hp) so you're paying for material, and fit
