Re: Any drawbacks of SLP-Y-pipe?
from what I've heard no one has experienced any gains with them. LG Motorsports has a 2 and 3/4 y-pipe for sale that I've heard of people getting 5-10 HP with it.

Only draw back is that it hangs down pretty low. That's why GM bent the drivers side of the stock Y pipe to ****.
I don't know if I got any horses, most say about 5 rwhp, but it did make my exhaust sound a lot deeper.

Re: Any drawbacks of SLP-Y-pipe?
I have the SLP Y-pipe going into a Flowmaster Collector. Lots of clearance, picked up power. The SLP 2 1/2" pipe has to be better than the factory 2 1/4" crushed pipe. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />
