Mac Collector mod question?
Friggin' RASP!!!
I just installed a 18 inch bullet muffler in place of the resonator on my Loudmouth, but the rasp is still VERY bad... (Maybe I'm getting old!)
Anyways, what exactly do I need to order to get rid of the mac ball flanges? Do the O2 sensors stay in the same place?
Does anyone hae any pics of the mod?
Thanks!

Re: Mac Collector mod question?
I didn't modify those, I did the Flowmaster collector mod. It's a y-collector that is welded in place of the restrictive MAC one which as tobe cut out. I had a local muffler shop do it.

Re: Mac Collector mod question?
I had my ball joints hacked off of mine and then connected to a fabricated y-pipe, it did not stop the rasp. But junking that crap and running true duals did stop the rasp, or maybe im just too deaf to hear it anymore <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" /> .

Re: Mac Collector mod question?
So the reason for the RASP is the Y collector?
I was under the impressions that the ball flanges on the headers were the main cause...
Now I am really confused!
