More ?'s from a kid.....

More ?'s from a kid..... OK lately I've been getting the itch! I just can't wait to get my 98 SS out and well I've been spending more time reading what everyone has to say is working for everyone.
I desided i want new headers and exhaust. I was thinkin Hooker LTs and Y pipe and possibly the SLP LM exhaust, but i hear that its too raspy and it would just suck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> what do you experienced guys think about that set up?
And what about the setup with Hooker LTs and then this Dual with an X dumped off before the axle?
How do i go about installing the headers? Do i put them in from underneith or from the front? or is it best just to let the guys at the local exhaust shop do it for me?
I also have a ? about this Auto tap. people are talking about it like anyone could use it. Does it actually tell you how to use it or are you kind of going blind at it? I want to know if this is somethin i could do myself without totally messing up my car. also when people are talkin about the auto tap they keep saying somethin about FTRA!what is that? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: More ?'s from a kid..... Right now I have no muffler, which is not unlike the LM, and it is very raspy. Go with true duals with 1 or 2 chamber flowmasters. There's plenty of posts to search through about that, just do a search for "duals" or "dual exhaust" or something like that.
With autotap, I'm sure you need to know what you are looking at for it to make sense, but it's probably fairly easy to learn.
