QTEC cut-out
For the wiring, do they come with instructions? I know its probably pretty simple, but just checking.
How have you guys been doing it? Have they been working pretty good for you guys?
Thanks
Casey

The switch is already wired to a long wire which plugs in to the cutout. You just hook the switch it to a hot and a ground, and that's it. I think, but I can't remember exactly, I used the power from the traction control switch and the ground from the cigarette lighter, it tells you in the instructions. I did a little soldering and that was it. Mine works great. Don't hold the switch down too long and burn out the motor and you should be fine... take about 4 seconds to open or close completely. You'll need to remove a rubber plug from under the rear passenger side seat on the outside of the car, make two cuts like an X in it, then run the wire through it and put the rubber plug back in, then feed the wire up under the carpet to the console, or wherever you are mounting it. If you have trouble feeding the wire up under the carpet from under the rear seat, just duct tape the wire to some higher guage wire and use that to pull it through.

Re: QTEC cut-out
I just finished up the wiring of the qtec today and I must say it was really easy. I ran it from the plug under the backseat under the carpet and to the ashtray where I mounted the switch. I ran power off of the fuse box and grounded it to some metal plating right beneath the console, its a real nice peice I have to admit I just have to make sure and release the switch ontime when I am opening and closing it.
