Default Dirty MAF!!

I posted earlier about cleaning my MAF. Should I really be worried that it is dirty? Will it hurt performance, or does it just give better air flow with a clean one?

How many miles on your car? Just curious as to when I should think about cleaning mine. Safe to say mine is clean with 2500 miles, but looking forward

Dirty MAF sensor wires create false readings which cause drivability problems. I've seen this problem many times. Most of the time it won't set a code either.
