Default can my water pump warp?

ive bee ndriving my car with a leaking gasket for about 6 months and barely have time to fix it will it be ok or is it warped and need to replace it? thanks guys

Are you positive it's leaking from the gasket? When the waterpump is wearing out, a "weep-hole" will open up and allow water to drip out. I don't believe you have to worry about warping anything.

blur is correct, also, the actual bearing races in the front of the pump wear out and water or rad fluid is sometimes forced threw the races to the out side of the pump, I would take off your belt and see if you can move the pump bell up and down, or front to back. if there is any play in the bell, then the bearings are going bad and it is time for a new pump. If there is no movement, then most likely the gaskets could be bad.
