Default Throttle Body ?

What kind of gains have you guys seen with ported throttle bodys on basically stock motors and also has there been any problems with them causing lean conditions

...wrong forum; this belongs in the bolt-on section...

but since you asked, a nice pick up of about 5- 7 HP should be obtained...and it is a free mod so go for it...

A search of "ported throttle body" will give you lots to read.

A few of the advertisers on the right offer porting service.

I've read quite a few of the threads on the throttle bodies, but haven't seen any info on if it makes for any lean conditions, has anyone had any problems with this

It's not going to make any lean condition most likely. The TB allows more air to be sucked into the engine, since all that air has to pass by the MAF it gets a reading on it and applies the amount of fuel needed.
