Default Non Adjustable borla

I have searched and searched, it seems that all i can come up with is the adjustable borla, i dont like the sound of the adjustable, i dont like the looks of the tips either

I am so tempted to get the hooker cat back, however the borla being stainless is a plus, and i like the single 4" rolled tips better, i cant find any sound clips, all the LS1 sounds are the adjustable, hell i cant even find a pic on the car only the system laying on the ground on the site.

If anyone has any comments or has this exhaust with pics, or sound comments, or a link that i missed i would be grateful.

So get a Magnaflow, that's stainless and it flows great and sounds good.

Hahaha!I don't know why but I heard that rooster's voice "Fog Horn Leg Horn" from those old cartoons saying that...

Dude, the reason TransAm_00 probably posted that is because you were not exactly civil to 00 SLVR Z's post.I understand the post wasn't of any help to you but, most of the members here would say something like "Thanks for the help man but, thats not what I'm looking for".

Plus doing a bump maybe once a day is good...anything more is a bit excessive.

Back to your sub:

The non-adjustable Borla is really hard to find any feedback on because just about everybody prefers the adjustable version.

If you want, you can keep searching for other people's opinons on this catback (which there isn't much out there as you very well know).

Or go ahead a take a risk and buy it...after all,it is stainless I believe and its not exactly from a shady company...Its Borla!

Or do like suggested and go with a stainless system that is also stainless,is a strong company AND has TONS of feedback on this board from people who actually have it.Magnaflow.Only complaint I have heard from Magnaflow guys is that the kit tends to be a bit quiet for some.

I would think about the Magnaflow kit since you don't like the sounds of the adjustable Borla, want stainless and because I am familiar with thier products having owned a kit from them on my old Mustang,I can tell you the quality is first rate and tone is great...quiet but great.

Don't mean to sounds like I'm getting all up in your face just trying to see if you can get what you need from this thread and not have it turn into a pissing match between us all.

Good luck on your choices man...

Default I can't believe I remembered this...

There is a guy over in the Texas forums selling the catback.

There are pics and a couple of video clips...Sounds like a quiet system..

Here is the LINK

You probably already bought something but,heh...there you go anyways..

What is it about the adjustable you don' t like? Just wondering because I think the sound between the two would be about the same it the adjustable had a closed plate in it. Are you worried about the rasp a lot of people complain of? I can tell you that through QTPs and a catd' y-pipe, the rasp is nearly non-existant with the closed plate in there. Heck, a car with Kooks LTs and catd' y-pipe through a B&B has a bit raspier tone than the closed Borla. I have hear both in person.

Just wondering what you were looking for exactly. The only plus to the non-adjustable I understand is the lower cost.
