Well Dave, it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If your like most of us, you want to go faster, handle better, stop quicker, and look good while you're doing all of the above.
Do a search on "free mods". That is a good start on the cheap side. From there it really depends on which direction you want to go. You're at least in the right place. Read a lot here and then start checking our sponsers over there-------------------------------->

i think the first thing most people do is a lid. once you get that, you could do the free ram air mod, and then maybe consider an inexpensive catback or even a cutout ($40 will get you open exhaust). that's a good starting point. like 2002blackZ said, it's all what you want. good luck
