Default test pipes.....

there is a company that makes test pipes for an 01' firebird......are the stock cats welded on or bolted on....and does anyone know if the pipes are worth it? http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...ust/Test_Pipes

Not worth it. There's better exhaust alternatives.

The stock y-pipe is still pretty restrictive even without cats.

A good picture of what you actually get would be helpful too.

Anyone have any alternative that I could do for my exhaust that would give me more power and improve my mpg?

Yeah, that is reason alone right there. You can buy a welder and make a work of art under the car for that price. Unless it is 24k gold pipe.

Yeah not worth it. Get LT's or just don't worry about it. Stock CATS are welded on. Need to be cut and just not worth the labor.
