Default Sweet Thunder

This isn't a LSX question but I am thinking about putting sweet thunders on a 1977 ford f-250 with the 400. Does anybody know how this would sound? Or has anybody done anything like this? Engine is bone stock with about 105000 on it. I want a good deep muscle sound but not too loud. Running through headers and pipe to the corners. Thanks

you may not want sweet thunders then. they're one step below straight pipes consider a REAL muffler. since you have a stock truck, i doubt you're looking for performance. consider a flowmaster 50 series muffler. they're quiet, deep and are made for trucks and SUV's i believe. they're cheap too.

I'd run dual Flowmasters on anything I could fit them under. The sound is kick ***, not too loud, but nice and deep.

Sweet thunders might not be too loud if you've got them piped all the way to the back.
