Default Rear O2 sensors? Are they needed

My mechanic who has been working on my engine swap has everything together. Tomorrow night we are fitting together the ypipe to the rest of the loudmouth exhaust and then the baby should be good to go!!!! I had one question which we werent sure about. After hooking the front o2 sensors up and everything do i need to even get rear o2 sensors put in? I know the SES light will be on that is of no concern to me. I just dont want any damage to be done or the motor not be able to idle correctly without them? Are they really nessecary to have or can i skip them? thank you we will be doing this all tomorrow night to finish it up

They're only there to monitor correct operation of the cats. Without them, they just set a light and code. They have no bearing on the air/fuel control of the PCM.

AIR, EGR, REAR O2 sticky > you. Do a search next time and you wouldn't have to wait for an answer.
