Bbk 80mm Throttle Body?
I installed this 80mm throttle body but notcied it is a bit stiff on standing start.
I noticed the stock TB has a small hole in the shutter.
Would adding a hole to the 80mm model help get rid of this problem?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

What do you mean by "stiff"? And how do you think a hole in the TB blade would free it up?
The hole on the standard TB is for idle control as the engine still requires some air intake to idle. Adding a hole in the BBK unit will probably screw up you idle.
Personally I've only every heard/read bad thinks about the BBK unit. Also the logic just isn't there to back up running it either. The LS1 and LS6 intake manifolds don't have a big enough opening to make any real odds. A good ported stock TB will work just as effectively as the 80mm BBK.
If you can't solve the issues with it, it may be worth selling it and using an alternative instead.

since its been awhile for this one, whats the consense now for the hole to be if to have one at all on an 80mm TB that doesnt have a TB blade hole in it? Im noticing im experiencing engine stall at low idle when im first put it in Drive or Reverse. Forst said i might need to drill it but to what size? It has an idle adjuster screw. Alittle help
