header banging i think

header banging i think
hey i have kooks headers with 3inch y pipe and borla catback...anywayz everytime i drive my car and rev at around 2100-2500 rpms something start banging and im think its the header or y-pipe but idk for sure and i look underneath the car there isnt any pipes touchin the body but on the passenger side the header is just barely barely touch the body. could that be it? what happen if i leave like this and is there anyway i fix this bangin issue? thanks

Which Y-pipe do you have? I assume you have a KOOKS Y. I have had no bumping/banging issues with my Kooks Stainless Steel Catted Y.
But as stated, poly motor mounts or a Mufflex Bump Stop should help things out. I've read of people putting pieces of heater hose in between the Y and frame as well for a temporary fix.
