What to do??
I took my car to get an oil change yesturday and i have been hearing a burble when i get on the gas lately it seems that the muffler where it connects to the pipes leading to the tips has a crack in it maybe from rust? I have the exhaust on my 2000 ss and the guy said he can just put a flowmaster muffler on there and weld it in for $150 for part and labor is that a good deal? but its just the muffler i was thinking going borla yea! but he wanted 800+ i dont have that kind of money right now so i take a pass at that. Should i just get the flowmaster muffler?

I would get a hooker catback, the WHOLE catback is under 300 shipped to your door and its all bolt on so you CAN install it, that way you would be getting rid of the crappy OEM piping too

See if they can weld up the crack. If not I would either get a new catback or if your looking to save money look into a different muffler. I had a MagnaFlow muffler on my stock exhaust. Flowmaster sucks!
