you people that run LTs/ORY/Cutout on a DD are insane... just uncapped the cutout with my LTs/ORY/Magnaflow. holy ****. too loud for me to even think about anything except how loud it is. Drowns out everything outside with the windows down.. and sounds like hell has been unleased on the Earth at WOT. I wouldn't complain I guess if it were a better sound, but it sounds like hell after 2000RPM

LOL, it is very loud! WOT is amazing though. Idle is about the same as TD's, but sounds crappy. Hey Silver02TA...hows about that insane rasp we all have? 
Any acceleration is loud, but if your cruisin' slow and slowly speed up....I think it sounds great and loud. Closed thur my Hooker is way too quiet for me.
SOOOOOO.....i'm going True Duals out the back, magnaflow race cats, H pipe, Flowmaster 1 chambers!!!!

Silver02 you are correct, open cut-outs is insane loud, and you have to be insane to run it as a DD. Your guess is right as well, uncapping them every now and then will put a smile on your face.

Just put 1 bolt between the cutout and the plate, the bolt the plate on the outside. Or use some washers. It makes it louder and also cuts that RAW sound down a bit. Manny Z28 told me that and it is pretty sweet. Kind of a medium area between the two. But yeah, I have LT's, ORY, Cutout and MS4

I run LT/ory/E-cutout it got much louder after the cam swap(MS4). I love my E-cutout I can open or close anytime I want or i get stuck next to a cop. Last I was at the gas station cop pulled in right next to me, When I went to leave I closed the cutout fired it up and left. Cop didn't even turn his head

I have kind of an open exhaust (it's mufflers straight off the headers, and a small bend out the side) and it is a lot quieter than both my stock exhaust with 3" cutout and Mufflex with 3" cutout. Man, I miss the sound of a exhaust with a cutout. But for me, the louder the better. 
But for me, the louder the better.
