Default spark plug wires

I am replacing my factory headers with some pace setter long tubes(boy is that a job) and I want to change plug wires should I go with anything particular the plugs I chose where NGK as recomended from most

I would go with MSD if you wanna go aftermarket, I tried using autolites but they were slightly longer then the stockers so they rubbed the header, so I just kept the stock ones.

does it matter if I put the wire for spark plug #1 to Spark plug #8? basically if the wires were disconnected then re-connected in the correct way, but the wire the used to be on plug # 1 is now on plug #8 or vice versa.. or #4 on #6 or #7 on #2. etc...
