Default Is this a doable exhaust?

I can't seem to get my exhaust right. I had LT's with an ORY into a borla and it was loud, but way too raspy. I then went to a catted y pipe to get rid of the rasp and then it got WAYYY to quiet! If I wanted to run cats (lots of mobile inspections coming up around me lately) Could I run cats, dynomax bullets into dumps? I'm assuming this would be louder than my current setup? (The same catted y pipe witih borla)

If this is possible, besides the cats and bullets, should I buy an X pipe or should I just let an exhaust shop fab up the whole setup? Is the sound difference of an H pipe worth the extra money to fab up? If I have cats do I even need bullets? Is the point of them just to add a better tone rather than 'quiet' it down?

Dumps are always louder due to the fact that they resonate off the ground.

Ryan, pull your intermediate pipe off your Y and see how it sounds like that.
If you like the way it sounds stick with your setup and pickup an E-cutout.
If it's not loud enough, well, then think about the bullet/dumped route.
