Default Best way to cut hood (debaffleing)

I have the SLP HO ram air hood. I would like to cut out the baffles and seal it to the lid. I have the perfect weatherstripping for the job, my friend used it on his and it came out excellent.

I will take off the grills on the outside. I will have to cut a precise rectangle out of the inside of the hood where the air will be coming through (at this point it is 3 small ovals). What type of tool should I use to cut this good? I was thinking dremel but I have bad luck with dremels. I go through way too many disks (even the fiberglass ones) and i dont want i slipping on me. I also dont find a dremel to be all that precise and can wander on you.

Any tips for getting out the inner baffles without wrecking anything?
