Whirring from engine-normal?

Whirring from engine-normal? I've noticed this whirring noise coming from what seems the engine. The noise gets higher pitched as the rpms rise. I was just wondering if this noise is normal or if its the intake system.

Does it sound like a roots/twin-screw blower? Mine does that and I'm pretty sure it is one of the tensioners (it became even louder when I put an UD pulley on).
