Default Bell mouth adaptors on true duals / flowmasters?

As per the introduction to exhaust sticky, it is recommended to use a muffler about 1 inch larger in diameter than the piping and connect them with a bellmouth adaptor as per the illustration to get a little bit more under the curve power. However I have heard nothing from anyone who has actually applied this to their set-up. I found nothing using the search.

My planned set up is QTP headers, h-pipe, 2.5 tubing over the axel, and flowmaster single chambers. Would this be a good application for said set-up? Why or why not? Also for those using single chambered flowmasters, which length are you running? I have seen several different options.

TTT, I know someone knows a thing or two about this.

I'm planning out my set up and a little info would be much appreciated.

Definitely be a better option for scavenging and exhaust gas velocity. I think that those single chambers are all about the same length. Unless you are talking about the racing mufflers.
