Point in 3" pipe...
I am wanting to change to Magnaflow catback, but I have some (newbie) questions...
What's the point in getting the full catback when you can just buy the muffler? This is assuming stock headers and Y-pipe. Unless you are gonna do 3" the whole way back, doesn't seem to make sense to replace the stock I-pipe or mandrel bends.
Also, will getting a pair of magnaflow carsound 2.5" in/out cats make a big difference? The stock cats are very restrictive, and I'm just wondering if upgrading them is only a little improvement, or vast improvement.
Thanks for your patience

hadn't really thought about that.
I looked up an old thread with the comparison of the cats... it said the metallic magnaflow had about double the % air flow than the OEM.
