is the slp underdrive pulley worth the money

About 5-10 depending on what other mods you have... I wouldn't do it unless you plan on opening up the motor, (cam ect...) It's a PITA to install one...
only do it when you have to. 
And replace the crank bolt if no one has told you already.

Why dose every one say a underdrive pully is a PITA to install? I instaled one on my last 02 z in about 30 min just taking my time. not sure on the power increase but i could tell the diffrence in how the car reved up.
