Default Cross-Flow Magnaflow Muffler?

Does Magnaflow make a cross-flow muffler like the Flowmaster 80 series? Looking at the F-body catback they make, the muffler they use appears to be a standard 1-in, 2-out muffler. That's all, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that they don't. Magnaflow's claim to fame is their "straight thru performance". and not to sound condescending but if they did make one don't you think that they would have used it?

Magnaflow makes a direct replacement muffler for the stock exhaust. It has the same ins/outs as the factory or the flowmaster

???... Doesn't look like it will work. Or maybe it's mislabeled? The inlet in the top-right corner looks bigger than the two outlets.

But then this one looks right... #14267

? That's supposed to be like that 3" inlet 2 x 2.5" outlets. And that looks like the right part number for the fbody application. Where are you using it if I may ask?

It's for my Z28. It needs to be a CROSS flow muffler. The polished one(14267) above is correct. But the natural finish one(12267) above has the outlets on the same side, which is not correct for a cross flow muffler.

Ah so it looks like you found what you were looking for...if you are having a catback custom built you would be one of the few who save some cash and have it done. Any estimates on final price if that is indeed what you are building?

The pic is wrong, don't make things too difficult. Pretty easy to see that outlet that is labeled 3" is smaller than the inlet that is labeled 2.5"

Yes there is a Magnaflow F-body weld-end muffler. Here's a pic of it, excuse the pipes. I had one but ditched it for a flowmaster.

Ok, I thought the pic was labeled wrong. So I guess both mufflers are the same, just different finishes. This is going to replace my Flowmaster muffler which is rusting apat on the inside, so it rattles and it sounds like ***.

Yeah the first one is aluminized steel and the shiny one is polished stainless steel.
