Fuc%!ng rear coil bracket bolt-driver side!
How do you take the rear coil pack bracket bolt off
There is a bracket that will not pry up far enough for the bolt to back out all the way for me to remove the coil bracket. Anyone??

I have gear wrenches, so that'll help I guess. I was just hoping to pry that AIR bracket up enough to get that last 10mm bolt to back out so I could slide the coil bracket out.

I just pushed and bent the bracket out of the way. I forget what it held but it does not have to be in a certain position. I installed a breather at the back of the valver cover and needed the extra room. Then after I did my cam/springs I think I removed it and left it off.

That was going to be my next question. Doesn't that bolt hold down a ground wire? Wonder if anyone has a pic of the back of the head so I can get an idea of its exact location

I'm confused, are you talking about a 15mm bolt that goes on the back of the head, or the last 10mm bolt holding the coil pack bracket to the valve cover? If you're talking about the latter, a ratcheting wrench will do the trick nicely. If you don't have one, good luck...

^^^That's right! I believe it does hold down the ground wire; however, I only need to back out the bolt a little ways to slide the bracket that connects to the AIR system upward. Once THAT bracket is out of the way, I will be able to remove the coil pack bracket. It's a clearance issue for those wondering.

I know the rear coil bracket bolt doesn't have a ground on it. We're talking about the bolt in the back of the head that needs to be removed in order to slide the AIR bracket up far enough to remove the last coil bolt.
