aftermarket valve cover question...
I see a few ads for LS1 aftermarket valve covers; but they don't have the necessary ports or fittings shown for some of the connections needed on a stock engine.
on the drivers side there is this connection:
and on the pass. side:
And I do believe that on my 2002 LS1 Corvette that the pass. side is more than just external fittings, there is a black "device" on the underside of the factory valve cover connected to each of those two ports.
And then there's the oil filler neck.
how do you "massage" these aftermarket valve covers to integrate fully with all these connections ?

for the top pic i've seen several guys just put valve cover breathers on which is what i'm going to do. not sure about the pass side though. i know intakeelbows.com (sponsor) has an oil fill cap option. i'm going to be going with their vavle covers with that option myself.
