Default y pipe question

the SLP y pipe. i understand that it doesent flow any better than the stock one correct? However does it make the car any louder on stock manifolds?

Who says it doesn't flow any better than the stock one?? Have you seen the stock one??

And yeah, your car will be a little louder, not much difference tho...

i was pretty sure that it was tested and it had the same flow?

hmm...I must have missed that one.....I would hate to spread invalid information, but the slp y-pipe is a 3" pipe right? If so, it HAS to outflow the shitty smashed stock y-pipe. But either way, its not going to make much difference...flow or sound...

btw, Why the slp y-pipe? According to your sig you have made the wise decision to just save for long tubes and do it right...?
