Default help with cut out

i have a stock exhaust system , all but the muff has been change with a
high flower, but other wise its stock!! were do u get a good deal on one
and what kind would u go with, and were do u locate it on a stocker
and do u use 2 of them or one and do the sound good or what. sic
of ricer fart cans ,, THANKS..

Ok this is what i think you meant. You have a stock exhaust. All of the piping but the muffler has been replaced (made bigger?). Where can you get a good deal on a cut-out, and which brand is recommended. Where would you put it on the stock exhaust and do you need to use two of them. What do they sound like, because your sick of ricer fart cans.

First find out what size exhaust you have. This will determine what size cutout to get. You can get an electric one to operate from inside the car, or a manual one that you unbolt. Several of our sponor sites have them. On the stock exhaust you can put the cut out several places. If your using one cut-out put it any where after the y and before the muffler. As far as sounds www.ls1sounds.com should have a few clips for you.
