What are the diffrences between a catback system, straight pipes, true duals, open headers and dumped exhaust?

cat-back: from the cat converters back (I pipe over axle pipe muffler, tail pipes)
Straight pipes: Replacing the cat converters with a piece of pipe
true duals: no more cat-back but 2 totally seperate pipes for each manifold/header normally connected to an X or H pipe
open headers: usually when people put LT ehaders on they crank it with just the ehaders and nothing else, you cant drive like this...
dumped exhaust: dumped under the car by the rear axle usually associated with true dual systems

Also Straight Pipes are sometimes referred to an exhaust without any kind of mufflers. IF you just have piping off your headers and back out the rear of the car, you're running striaght pipes.
